How it works

One school, one conversation, followed through to a yes.

Add a school to your pipeline, write to the principal from your own domain, read what they say back, and keep the follow-up on a date. Everything about that relationship in one place — not a spreadsheet, a mail tool and a CRM stitched together.

Everything you need to work the list — email needs a five-minute domain setup

  • One click from search to pipeline

Any row, any saved list: add a school to the pipeline as you browse, or 500 at a time. Duplicates are skipped and reported, contact details are snapshotted so you can edit them freely.

  • A pipeline board you will actually use

Drag leads through New → Contacted → Interested → Proposal → Won / Lost. Columns show counts and deal value; cards show last touch and overdue tasks.

  • Email from your own domain

Connect your Resend account, verify a subdomain, and write to the principal from your address — not ours. We show you the exact DNS records and check them for you.

  • Their reply lands in a shared inbox

A school writes back and it appears as a thread against that school, attached to the lead's history rather than disappearing into a personal mailbox. Filter by unread or needs-reply so nobody is left waiting. (Team seats: coming next.)

  • Segments that find the follow-ups

Build audiences from any field, tag, stage or activity — “CBSE schools with no touch in 14 days” — then filter the board, bulk tag, move or export them.

  • Bring your own lists, take yours out

Import CSV or Excel with column mapping, preview and dedupe; rows that match a database record get linked automatically. Export any view or segment to CSV or Excel.

How a business finds marketing success with it

  1. 1

    Pick a territory

Filter by state, district, board, type and contact availability. Start with the schools that name a principal and have a phone.

A list worth calling, not a list to clean.

  2. 2

    Add them to the pipeline

One click per school or a bulk add from a saved list. Set a deal value, tag the hot ones.

You know exactly who to call next.

  3. 3

    Write to them, then talk

Email the principal from your own domain, or open WhatsApp with a prefilled draft. Calls, notes and follow-up tasks are logged as you go, and stage changes log themselves.

A timeline you can trust next week.

  4. 4

    Segment and follow up

“Interested, no touch in 7 days” becomes a segment; bulk-tag it, move it, export it. Won totals and lost reasons tell you what is working.

    Follow-ups stop depending on memory.

Not a bulk email tool

Built for one good email, not ten thousand bad ones

This is not a bulk sender and it will not help you blast a list. Every email is written to one school and goes out from your own verified domain, so principals get something worth answering and your sending reputation is yours to build rather than a shared pool anyone can burn.

Your domain, your DKIM

We show you the exact DNS records to publish and check them for you. Mail is signed as genuinely from you, which is what mailbox providers actually check.

One at a time, not a blast

Every email is written and sent to one school at a time — no bulk blast to thousands of addresses at once, which is the pattern spam filters are built to catch.

Bounces stop sending automatically

An address that bounces or reports you is suppressed, and further sending to it is blocked. Ignoring that is how senders get blacklisted. Opens and clicks are recorded when your Resend account reports them.

A subdomain keeps your real email safe

Send from mail.yourdomain.com and your day-to-day mailboxes are untouched, whatever happens to your outreach reputation.

No sender can promise a message lands in the inbox; that decision belongs to the recipient’s mail provider. What we can do is give you every mechanism that earns it — and refuse to build the one thing that destroys it, which is a button that mails ten thousand schools at once.

One payment through Razorpay by UPI, card or net banking. One time, not a subscription. Export the whole database to CSV or Excel, or work it inside the built-in CRM, for good.

Pricing

One price for the whole platform. The schools come with it.

One price for the outreach platform — pipeline, sending from your own domain, and the shared reply inbox. Every institution is included at no extra charge: no per-lead pricing, no data add-ons, no subscription to us. Sending runs on your own Resend account and a domain you already own — Resend’s free tier covers most early outreach, and heavier volume is billed by them, not by us. Try it on 100 real schools first.

Trust and data integrity

Data sources, freshness and accuracy

Know exactly what you are buying: four plain answers to the questions a data buyer should ask, with the numbers read live from the database.

Where the data comes from

  • Compiled from 20 public directories and registries, then deduplicated into one record per institution (179,472 in total).
  • Every row keeps its source names and a source count, so you can see how many sources agree before you call.
  • Fields added by our enrichment pipeline are applied only from verifiable evidence, never generated from a pattern.

How fresh it is

  • The headline numbers on this page refresh every hour from the live database. The dataset itself is re-enriched in batches, and every run is listed on the updates page.
  • Last updated 21 Aug 2026.
  • Full access includes every future update at no extra cost.

How accurate it is

  • A lead quality score from 0 to 100 on every record, built from field completeness and source agreement.
  • Every email carries a quality flag; bulk verification has not been run yet, so flags read “not yet verified”.
  • 110,935 of the 166,495 phone numbers are mobile numbers; filter “Has mobile” to get only those.

Compliance

  • The database is compiled from publicly published institutional contact information: the details schools, colleges and institutes publish to be reached.
  • You are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to your outreach (for example telemarketing and data protection rules) when you contact anyone on the list.
  • Institutions can ask us to correct or remove their record at any time.

FAQ

FAQ: Indian schools database questions, answered

Anything else? Email hello@indianschoolsdatabase.com.

Is there a list of all schools in India with contact details?
Yes. This Indian schools database holds 67,606 schools and 179,472 education institutions in total, each with board, location, email, phone and the principal's name where published. You can filter by state, district, city and board, view 100 records free, and export any filtered set to CSV or Excel.
How do I get school email IDs in India?
Create a free account, filter the database to the schools you want (for example a state and board), and the email column is there — note the free preview is the same fixed 100 institutions whatever you filter by: 77,760 institutions have an email address on record. Export the list to CSV or Excel. The free preview shows 100 schools in full; a one-time ₹2,499 unlocks all of them.
Does the database come with a CRM?
Yes. Every account includes a built-in CRM: add institutions to a pipeline in one click (singly or 500 at a time with duplicate checks), move them across stages on a kanban board, log calls, notes and tasks, and message a school on WhatsApp with a prefilled draft. Free accounts get 100 CRM leads; full access (₹2,499) unlocks unlimited leads, 3 pipelines, segments, CSV/Excel imports and bulk actions.
Can I message schools on WhatsApp from the CRM?
Yes, in one tap. Each lead has a Message on WhatsApp button that opens WhatsApp with your saved draft already filled in with the principal's name and the school; you only press send, then log the outcome in one tap and it lands on the lead's timeline.
Can I email schools from my own domain?
Yes, and that is the point. You connect your own Resend account and verify a sending domain — we recommend a subdomain like mail.yourcompany.com so your everyday mailboxes are never affected. Emails then leave your domain, signed with your DKIM, against your quota. The app shows you the exact DNS records to publish and verifies them for you, and there is a step-by-step guide inside Settings → Email.
Will my emails land in the inbox or in spam?
Nobody can promise inbox placement — that is decided by the recipient's mail provider, based on your domain's reputation, your content and how much you send. What this tool does is give you the mechanisms that earn it: you send from your own verified domain rather than a shared IP pool that other senders can burn, messages go one at a time rather than as a bulk merge, and any address that bounces or reports you is suppressed automatically. The setup guide covers warming up a new domain slowly, which matters more than anything else in the first month.
Where do replies from schools go?
Into a shared inbox in the app, threaded against the school they came from, threaded against the school rather than sitting in one person's mailbox (team seats are coming next, so today that is the account owner). Set up a receiving subdomain and each conversation gets its own private reply address, which is how a reply is matched to the exact thread instead of guessed from the sender. You can filter by unread or needs-reply, and reply from the same screen.
Do I pay separately for the database?
No. The ₹2,499 is for the platform — the pipeline, sending from your own domain, and the shared reply inbox — and every institution is included at no extra charge. There is no per-lead pricing, no data add-on and no subscription to us. Sending runs on your own Resend account and a domain you already own: their free tier covers most early outreach, and heavier volume is billed by Resend rather than by us. Free accounts can use the whole platform on 100 CRM leads and 100 institutions; paying once removes those limits, and your access to the data and every future update never expires.
Is buying a school database legal in India?
The database is compiled from publicly published institutional contact information, the details schools publish to be reached. Buying and using it for business outreach is lawful in general; you remain responsible for following the rules that apply to your calls, messages and emails, such as telemarketing and data protection laws. Institutions can ask us to correct or remove their record at any time.
How many schools are in the database?
67,606 schools, within 179,472 education institutions across 36 states and union territories and 668 districts. The wider set includes 18,192 colleges, 2,066 universities, 18,453 coaching institutes and 8,302 training institutes, all in the same searchable database.
Does it include colleges and coaching institutes too?
Yes. Alongside 67,606 schools there are 18,192 colleges, 2,066 universities, 18,453 coaching institutes, 8,302 training institutes and 5,717 research institutes. Use the institution type filter to work with one kind at a time, or combine types in a single list and export.
How often is the school database updated?
The headline numbers on this page refresh every hour from the live database. The dataset itself is re-enriched in batches, and every run is listed on the updates page. The database was last updated on 21 Aug 2026. Every record shows its source names and a source count, and full access includes every future update at no extra cost, so a list you export next quarter reflects the latest data.
Can I download the list as CSV or Excel?
Yes. Any filtered set or hand picked selection exports to CSV or Excel. The free preview exports its 100 rows; full access exports up to the entire database in one file, as often as you like, with no per seat fee and no export cap.
How much does the Indian schools database cost?
₹2,499, paid once through Razorpay (UPI, cards or net banking). There is no subscription and nothing to renew. The free preview of 100 records exists so you can evaluate the exact product before paying; if something is wrong afterwards, email hello@indianschoolsdatabase.com and we will put it right.
Can I filter schools by state, district or board?
Yes. Filter by state, district and city, by board (CBSE and ICSE/ISC are recorded where published), by institution type, by contact availability (has email, phone, mobile, website or a named principal) and by minimum lead score. Save a filtered list and re-export it after each update.
Do you have mobile numbers or only landlines?
Both. 166,495 institutions have at least one phone number and 110,935 of those include a mobile number. Use the “Has mobile” filter to keep only records with a mobile number, or “Has phone” for any number at all.

About the Indian schools database

IndianSchoolsDatabase.com is a searchable Indian schools database with contact details: 179,472 education institutions across 36 states and union territories and 668 districts, each kept as one deduplicated record. It is not only a school database: the same set holds 67,606 schools, 18,192 colleges, 2,066 universities, 18,453 coaching institutes, 8,302 training institutes and 5,717 research institutes, so a supplier selling to CBSE schools and an EdTech team selling to colleges work from the same source.

Sample rows from the Indian schools database showing institution name, masked principal name, location, and whether email, phone and website are on record
Real records, contact values masked. Full values are shown inside the app.

What each record contains

Institution name and type; board and affiliation number where published; street address, district, city, state and pincode; email addresses with a quality flag; phone and mobile numbers; the principal or primary contact's name and designation; website; a lead quality score from 0 to 100; and the names and count of the sources the record was built from. 77,760 institutions (43%) have an email address, 166,495 (93%) a phone number (110,935 of them a mobile number), 105,459 a named principal or primary contact and 22,275 a website.

Coverage by institution type and board

Board is recorded where the source publishes it: 39,071 CBSE affiliated institutions and 4,599 ICSE/ISC institutions today. State board affiliation is not yet a separate field, so a “state board schools” filter is not offered; you can still narrow by state, district, city and institution type. Coverage is deepest where public directories are richest: the largest state sets are Maharashtra, Delhi, Karnataka, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh (see the state pages above for exact counts).

Where the data comes from and how fresh it is

Records are compiled from 20 public directories and registries, the places institutions publish their own contact details, then deduplicated into one record per institution. Every row keeps its source names and a source count, so you can see how many sources agree before you call. The headline numbers on this page refresh every hour from the live database. The dataset itself is re-enriched in batches, and every run is listed on the updates page. The database was last updated on 21 Aug 2026. Fields added by our enrichment pipeline are applied only from verifiable evidence and never generated from a pattern.

How to download the list (CSV / Excel)

Create a free account and 100 institutions are unlocked in full as a preview, with the same filters and export you get after paying — the preview is a fixed set, so it is the same 100institutions whatever you filter by. Narrow by state, district, city, board, institution type, contact availability or minimum lead score, select rows or take the whole filtered set, and export to CSV or Excel. A single ₹2,499 payment through Razorpay unlocks every record and every future update; there is no subscription, no per seat fee and no export cap.

Who uses school leads from this database

EdTech, LMS and school ERP sales teams use it to reach principals by state; school suppliers and publishers route CBSE and ICSE schools to field reps by district; coaching and test prep marketers call institutes city by city; training and placement cells email colleges for campus partnerships; event and olympiad organisers invite thousands of schools from one export; agencies and researchers size territories from a single deduplicated source.

Using the data responsibly

The database is compiled from publicly published institutional contact information. You are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to your outreach when you contact anyone on the list, and institutions can ask us to correct or remove their record at any time. The data policy explains sources, permitted use and how to request a correction.
